Our Story - Naisula
The Serengeti - no ordinary place

One evening, as the sun dipped behind the acacia trees and the sky turned shades of purple and gold, I sat by a crackling fire and felt a certainty settle over me. The kind of certainty that doesn’t shout, but speaks softly and confidently from deep within.

I knew what I wanted to do.

I wanted to create a place where people could experience the Serengeti the way I had — intimately, respectfully, wholeheartedly. A place where luxury didn’t overshadow nature, but existed in harmony with it. A place that felt like a sanctuary, not just a stay.
That night, the dream of building my own safari lodge was born.
From that moment on, everything changed. I began speaking with local communities, because I wanted the lodge to be rooted in the culture and wisdom of the people who know this land the best. I worked with architects who understood that true beauty lies in simplicity and authenticity. I chose materials that honored the environment rather than intruding upon it.
It wasn’t always easy. There were challenges, delays, and moments of doubt. But every time I returned to the Serengeti, I remembered why I started.
This wasn’t just a project. It was a promise — to the land, to myself, and to the people who would one day walk through the doors of my lodge.
